The 5 mm acrylic plexiglass extends about 3 mm beyond the edges of the wooden map, creating a soft, diffused glow when the LED backlight is on. Please note that the listed dimensions refer to the wooden map itself; the final installed size will be slightly larger due to the acrylic extension.
The LED controller requires an AC power outlet. The main cable comes from South America or Antarctica (customizable). A remote control is included, and you can also use a smartphone app to change LED colors.
